Meet Gianna
Gianna graduated from UNT Dallas College of Law in 2022. She became licensed to practice law in Texas in October 2022. Gianna is also licensed in Washington State since December 2024, and is admitted to practice in the Northern District of Texas. Recently, she was working at RAÍCES helping clients of various backgrounds with their immigration petitions and removal proceedings.
During law school, Gianna was Vice President of the Women in Law Student Association where she assisted in holding panels for students and planning events. She also interned with a US magistrate in the Southern District of Texas-Laredo Division. Gianna was able to be in chambers assisting the magistrate with various tasks such as researching and writing, issuing orders, and overseeing court proceedings. Prior to that, she interned at the Dallas Public Defender’s Office. She interned there three times, the first was before she entered law school. Gianna was the first non-law student to intern there. Now, prelaw students are able to intern there!
Outside of work, she is an avid reader and traveler. She has been to myriad countries and loves to immerse herself in new places and is hoping to continue seeing more of the world! Gianna is also a makeup artist and has been since 2009. She focuses mainly on bridal work, but she has been published in a few magazines for her makeup.
She enjoys being able to let her creativity flow whether it’s through a makeup brush or through the law!
