Meet Lorena
Lorena graduated the University of North Texas in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice before attending Thurgood Marshall School of Law and being licensed in 2022.
Ever since Lorena was little, she knew that she wanted to help her Latino community. She grew up seeing the injustices immigrants faced every day and wanted to make a change. Once she graduated the University of North Texas, she decided to attend law school to pursue her dreams of becoming an immigration attorney. Most times, members of the Latino community do not get the proper care and representation that they deserve due to their culture and language barrier. Lorena wanted to be the change in help immigrants find their voice in America.
While attending law school, Lorena participated in multiple student
organizations, including the Death Penalty Awareness Society, Hispanic Law Student Association, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston. During her time in law school, she worked with an innocence project where she looked over the cases of the wrongfully convicted. She also served as a legal assistant for her school’s Immigration Clinic and served as a Student Attorney for her school’s Family Law Clinic. Lorena is big about giving proper, honest and diligent advice and she joins J Molina Law with much enthusiasm and ready to help our clients.
