The H-1B Visa is one of the most popular work visas in the United States. These visas are capped at 65,000 per year, plus an additional 20,000 for individuals with master’s degree. H-1B visas are exclusively for people with a specialty occupation. They’re also provided for those that will provide services to Department of Defense or work as a fashion model of distinguished merit.
A specialty occupation is that which requires a bachelor’s (or higher) degree in the specific field of work, or the necessary amount of acquired experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
