Attorney Joyce Melanie Reyes is a bilingual immigration attorney focused on complex immigration matters, removal defense, and humanitarian relief before the Immigration Courts and USCIS. Joyce is recognized for her strategic approach, persuasive legal writing, and detail-oriented representation.

She represents both detained and non-detained individuals in matters involving asylum, withholding of removal, Convention Against Torture (CAT) claims, VAWA petitions, U and T visas, adjustment of status, bond proceedings, and cancellation of removal. Her work is characterized by thorough case preparation, careful analysis, and a strong courtroom presence.

Joyce’s background includes extensive academic concentration in criminal law, trial advocacy, and federal and state litigation. During law school, she participated in the Puerto Rico Innocence Project and served in multiple academic research and teaching assistant positions involving criminal procedure, civil procedure, torts, labor law, and juvenile law.
